Price includes delivery and collection within 25km from Christies Beach unless otherwise specified in the quote you receive. Hire minimum spend for delivery and collection is  $350.

  • Conditions of Hire

    DEFINITIONS

    In these terms and conditions of hire, the following meanings shall apply:The Hire company/ us refers to ‘Caravino Bar and Event Hire’ and ‘Caravino Event Hire’“client, you, your” refers to the named person on the booking.“your hire, equipment" means all arrangements and items sourced and organised for you by us. The ‘Event date’ is the day of the wedding or event supplied by the client to us.We reserve the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time and you should therefore check them each time you hire items from us. The terms and conditions applying to your hire will be those in place on the date that you make your reservation.

    The hiring of equipment is done on a first to book basis. To secure the equipment for your booking after confirmation by us that the item is available the 50% deposit needs to be paid within 48 hours of booking confirmation/ invoice being sent through and an original term and conditions to be signed and returned to us via hellosign or scan. Should both these not be done by the due date the hire company has the right to hire any equipment to another client. Hiring of the equipment will begin from the commencement date specified by the hire company and shall be collected or returned to the hire company by the date specified by the hire company. Any extension of the period needs to be agreed to by the hire company and may incur additional fees.

    By making a booking through the website and/ or confirming a quote via signature on Terms and Conditions and deposit payment the hirer acknowledges and agrees to the Owners Terms and Conditions.

  • Deposit & Cancellation Policy

    DEPOSIT

    A 50% deposit (50% of the total booking amount including GST) is required at the time of the booking. Final payment of the remaining 50% and bond specified on invoice in the total booking cost shall be paid 14 days prior to the event date. All payments must be made by the direct deposit into the hire company’s bank account and by the due date specified. Please note that should the final payment not be made 14 days prior to the event date the hire company reserves the right to no longer supply any equipment for the event. No deposit will be returned should this occur.

     

    PAYMENT

    The hirer agrees to pay us the hire fee and the bond specified for the equipment for the hire period including any applicable GST, stamp duties, freight and other charges relevant to this agreement.

    You will be charged a bond as per specified on your invoice, which will be payable with your final payment prior to your event date and processed back to you within 48 hours of receiving back our items/ equipment in its original condition as hired to you. Equipment not returned on time and in accordance with this agreement will be subject to a continuance of the agreed rental until return is complete. Payment for hire of goods must be made by;  50% of the agreed hire price as deposit upon confirmation of order; and the balance of the agreed hire price made at least 14 days prior to delivery of the goods. Payment must be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash.

     

    CANCELLATION POLICY

    The Hirer may cancel an order but may forfeit any hire fees paid as follows:

    (a) If your booking is cancelled 4 weeks before the event date, we will retain the initial 50% non-refundable deposit, and the remaining amount will be re-paid in full if paid.

    (b) If your booking is cancelled or item quantities reduced within 14 days of the event date we will retain 100% of the total hire fee.

  • Delivery and Setup

    Our price as quoted include delivery and setup unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to charge additional transportation costs for any hire bookings further than a 25 km radius from Christie’s Beach, South Australia. Standard hire price is for delivery the night before and collection the next morning after the event or the evening of the event if appropriate (day events) for hire bookings greater than $350. The hirer must provide safe and proper access to and at the event site. Any venue’s with stairs and no lift access will need to be discussed prior for larger items and logistics. The hirer agrees to ensure that any site specified on the hire agreement, will be clear of all obstructions to allow us to erect, install or place the hire equipment safely.

  • Damage or Loss

    DAMAGE, LOST, STOLEN OR UNCLEAN EQUIPMENT

    (a) The Hirer is responsible for the equipment from the time of delivery until collection by the Owner and shall pay for all equipment damage or loss however caused during that period.

    (b) The client will pay full replacement cost of any equipment badly damaged, lost or stolen. The client will pay any repairing costs to damaged equipment. Any damaged equipment will be decided by the hire company if it can be repaired or require replacement. Burns, holes, tears, water damage or other similar damage to equipment shall be replaced at full cost to the client.

    (c) It is the clients responsibility to notify the hire company should the equipment not be in a satisfactory condition within 2 hours of receiving the equipment. Otherwise any damage or uncleanliness of equipment shall be deemed the clients accountability.

    (d) The client shall protect the equipment from the elements during the time of hire. In poor weather conditions storage of the equipment may be necessary and is the responsibility of the client to see that the equipment is stored safely. Any equipment damaged from weather is the full responsibility of the client and shall be paid at full replacement cost to the hire company.

    (e) Any equipment returned unclean by the client to the hire company, the client shall pay the hire company the full cost of returning the equipment to a clean condition.

     

    The Owner shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any person, property, animal or things whatsoever arising from the use of the equipment hereby hired and the Hirer indemnifies the Owner in respect to any claims for such loss or damage.

    Any person signing the documents for and on behalf of the Hirer hereby covenants with the Owner that he or she has the authority of the Hirer to make this agreement on the Hirer’s behalf and is empowered by the Hirer to bind the Hirer to this agreement and hereby indemnifies the Owner against all losses and cost incurred by the Owner arising out of the person signing this agreement failing to have such power and/or authority.

    Where the Hirer is more than one person liability shall be joint.

     

    COLOURS & CONDITION

    All efforts have been made to represent our items accurately in our photographs, however sometimes there may be slight discrepancies with colour due to different monitors showing different saturation and photographs being taken in different lighting and we cannot be held accountable for this. Every care is taken to provide the items as you expect them. We have many beautiful vintage pieces in our inventory and whilst they are well looked after, they are vintage and well loved! Please don’t expect them to be perfect – that’s part of their charm! We just ask that you love them and look after them too.

     

    DISCLAIMER

    The hire company shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any injury, death or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by the hire company.
